These utilities have been developed to help solve support issues or provide solutions to specific problems. Unless otherwise specified, these utilities have not gone through any specific testing process and are offered 'as is' with no guarantee of function or reliability.
Broadcast Radio Tools Pack

The Broadcast Radio Tools pack contains several additional helper utilities. More information can be found on our help pages .
Note: The Tools pack is free to use, and you can use it's tools in as many locations as you like, but is provided without warranty, so support is not available by the Technical Support Team.
The Tool pack includes:
- Audio Loop Thru v5: This is a very simple tool that takes any audio presented to a Line-In on a specified soundcard and "plays" it out through a specified output with relatively low latency. It's designed for stations that want to do things like take an outside source automatically - like an IRN audio feed - but don't want to have to do all the work of wiring up a logic card to a mixing desk or to an audio switcher box.
- Stream Player v5: This simple utility allows you to play a media stream from another location and can be remote controlled via commands. Demonstration commands are included as Myriad v5 Media Items in the Media Pack file installed in c:\BroadcastRadioTools\BRStreamPlayer5Commands.zip - this can be easily imported from the File menu in Myriad Playout v5.
Audio Monitor v5

The Audio Monitor is an application developed by Broadcast Radio to monitor a sound device's levels (either locally or by a remote network connection) and provide an on-screen display as well as email notifications of silences, even via SSL encrypted email servers.
Myriad Playout v5, SmartSign v1 and Myriad Monitor v4 can also connect to the Audio Monitor to display the levels alongside the Myriad Playout Log or around your building - even across multiple sites using your existing WAN if you have one.
The all new Audio Monitor v5 combines the 2 separate parts to the previous generations (Audio Import Monitor and Audio Remote Monitor) into a single easy to use installer - you just set the audio source to be a local sound card, or connect to a remote instance of the Audio Monitor.

BootStuff v6
Last Updated 29th June 2023 - v6.1.1 - All new version of BootStuff.
BootStuff is a simple application developed by Broadcast Radio to assist in the correct start up of Broadcast Radio applications but it can also be used to intelligently launch any third party application.
It's primary roles are:
- To check for the presence of a network location or resource prior to starting a Broadcast Radio application
- To use an alternative network location or resource if the primary location is not available
Broadcast Radio Encoder

The Broadcast Radio Encoder is a powerful encoding application used to encoder and send an audio stream to streaming servers. It is free for all Broadcast Radio Streaming customers, but is also available for use with 3rd party streaming platforms for a very small fee. Please contact us

The Broadcast Radio Encoder has the following features:
- The Encoder itself is a Windows Service so continues to run even if the PC is logged off.
- The Encoder Monitor is used to monitor and configure the Encoder, and can run locally or on any PC that can connect to the Encoder over a network.
- The Encoder can be easily started and stopped via simple UI.
- All features can be locked out via a simple password - for example you might require one password to alter settings, an a different one to allow starting and stopping.
- Built in support for sending Now Playing information to the Broadcast Radio My Station platform.
- Supports VST Plugins for powerful audio processing, and even comes with Stereo Tool Plugin ready to be installed and licensed.
- Myriad Playout v5 has native support for sending Now Playing information to the Encoder, and v5.22 and higher have built in support to remote control and monitor the Encoder status.
- API allows easy updating of Now Playing information from other systems
Broadcast Radio Support File Generator

This application generates Broadcast Radio Support Files without the need for a Broadcast Radio program to be actively running.
If you run the Support File Creator on the computer running SQL Server then it can also add SQL Databases to the Support file.
Debug File Deleter
(Updated 4th August 2013)
This utility automatically deletes Broadcast Radio Debug files that are older than a specified number of days. Debug Files can get quite large so this utility helps to reduce the amount of disk space used.
For example you use the Windows Task Scheduler to run this utility every day at midnight and tell it to delete all Debug Files that are 5 days old or longer.

Microsoft SQL Server Express 2019 (For 64 bit PCs only)
For new installations or deployments of Myriad we strongly recommend using Microsoft SQL Express 2019.
Microsoft SQL Server Express 2016 (For 64 bit PCs only)
This download is provided for users who are already running SQL 2016 and need to move to a new PC or to reinstall. For all new installations we recommend using SQL 2019 using the link above.
