Each video will walk you through some specific aspects of a Broadcast Radio product or service and combined, will build to provide you with everything you need to know to be able to setup, use and maintain your systems.

Myriad 5 Playout

Updated Content: The Myriad 5 Playout Training Course has been updated in 2021 to include a selection of new features introduced after the original videos were recorded. Most updates focus on the major updates to Myriad Schedule (which gets it's own series of training videos) although many other new features are also covered. The original videos were recorded during the 2020 UK lockdown without access to audio recording equipment so the audio quality is variable between original content and newly recorded sections.

Introduction

Welcome to the Myriad 5 Playout training course. In this video we introduce you to the course and let you now what you can expect over the coming videos!

Part 1: Basic Orientation And The Media Wall (2021 Update)

In part one of the Myriad 5 Playout training course, we will take a general look at the parts that make up Myriad Playout, what they do and how to access them. We will then focus on how to build, navigate and use the Media Wall.

Part 2: Favourites, The Library and The Log (2021 Update)

In the second part of the Myriad 5 Playout Training Course we cover how to use Favourites to quickly access key content on your system as well as browsing and searching Media Items using the Library view. We then switch attention to the Log, what it is used for as well as how to add & edit content.

Part 3: Dashboard, Voice Tracking, Smart Info and The Pad (2021 Update)

In this video we switch focus to using Myriad Playout to present live and automated shows using the Dashboard, Segue Editor and Voice Tracking tools. The we finish of with some information on the Smart Info panel and The Pad.

Part 4 - Myriad Schedule - Replaced by dedicated training course!

In the original Myriad 5 Playout Training Course, part 4 of the course was solely focussed on Myriad Schedule but release v5.29 introduced significant changes to the way Myriad Schedule functioned with the introduction of Station Rule Sets, Advert Scheduling and the stand alone Myriad Schedule Application (although this was available in slightly earlier releases). To adequately cover these upgrades and enhancements, a new dedicated training series was created just for Myriad Schedule.

Part 5 - Mass Changing, User Management & Settings (2021 Update)

This final video focuses on the administrative side of Myriad 5 Playout. You will learn how to maintain your Media Wall using the Mass Change tools, setup security and add Users to your system. Finally we focus on some of the more commonly used settings in the system. If you only do not need to know how to administer Myriad 5 Playout, you can skip this video.

Myriad Schedule

Myriad Schedule - Training Videos

Myriad Schedule is used to schedule all the Songs, Links and Adverts that appear in your Myriad Playout Log. By combining Clocks and Station Rule Sets, Myriad Schedule can use the content in your Myriad Playout system to generate live and automated programming for your radio station that will reflect the way you want your station to sound.

Part 1 - Basics Of Scheduling & Adding Content

In this first video in the series, we will examine the basic principles that Myriad Schedule uses to schedule content for your station. We will see how to design and setup the Category and Attributes structure for your station and add Songs, Links and Adverts to be included in your Schedule.

Part 2 - Clocks & Clock Assignments

In this video we concentrate on the creating Clocks that will be the framework Myriad Schedule will use to schedule content as well as learn how to assign Clocks to hours of your week to form your station schedule.

Part 3 - Station Rule Sets, Scheduling & Reports

This final video focuses setting up Station Rule Sets and applying them to Clocks. We also look at the Schedule & Un-Schedule process for manually and automatically scheduling. Finally we take a quick look at some of the reports and other options available in Myriad Schedule.

Myriad Anywhere Cloud - General User Training

Myriad Anywhere Cloud offers a range of remote working tools available through a compatible web browser. In this training video you will learn how to use Myriad Anywhere Cloud to view and edit your Log, add Voice Tracks and even take live control of your radio station, all from anywhere using a web browser. Please note that most features covered also apply to 'self hosted' Myriad Anywhere installations.

Advert Manager SE

Advert Manager SE - General User Training

Note: Advert Manager has now been superseded by Myriad Schedule for v5 customers so you should switch to using Myriad Schedule and watch the Myriad Schedule Training Course.

Advert Manager SE is used to manage and schedule adverts into the Log in Myriad 5 Playout. This training video will guide you through the process of setting up advert categories in both Advert Manager and Myriad Playout, add advert breaks to your clocks in Myriad Schedule, add 'clients' and 'adverts' to Advert Manager and finally schedule adverts into your advert breaks in Myriad 5 Playout.

B.R - Websites

Broadcast.Radio Websites - Part 1

In this video we will explore the template website that is included with all broadcast.radio websites as well as learn how to customise the look and feel of your website, choose the way your 'launch box' will look and add your own pages to the site.


We will also see how to manage the menus on your site, edit existing pages and build exciting new pages for your visitors to explore.

Broadcast.Radio Websites - Part 2

The second part of the broadcast.radio website tutorial video will move on to some of the more advanced, radio focused features such as add News articles, Presenter pages & Show profiles to your website. We will also see how to build your station Schedule for inclusion on your website, in your Web Players and the optional Mobile Apps.


We will also explore how to customise all the pages included in the template website as well as more advanced features such as connecting Streams, Playout Integration, Custom Web Players, User Management, Custom Domains and more.

B.R - Cloud Radio

This video will walk you through the complete process of setting up your own radio station on our B.R Cloud Radio platform. From ordering the service through adding content, planning your schedule and presenting your first show, we will cover every step to help you get started.


In little over an hour we go from ordering a system to being 'on air', and all without leaving the comfort of your own home!
