Myriad Cloud is the first cloud native, professional radio software solution designed for continuous use by radio broadcasters of all types and sizes. Whilst many companies offer a 'cloud radio' solution, almost all of these are based on traditional desktop software running on virtual machines (VMs) in a data center. This requires the VM to run Windows OS, databases and virtual audio devices which is inefficient and does not provide the reliance usually associated with cloud-based solutions.
Myriad Cloud is different.
The entire Myriad Cloud ecosystem runs natively in the Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. This provides enterprise grade resilience and elastic scalability to deliver a truly cloud based solution for professional, full time radio stations.

To achieve this, we have developed several key technologies including a completely new audio engine that does not require physical (or virtual) audio devices, a Myriad Playout engine, supporting utilities and of course, a complete web interface to allow users to plan and schedule their station, manage content & users, voice track and even present live shows from anywhere in the world.
Myriad Cloud will soon be available for subscribing customers to use via the Broadcast.Radio portal.

Reliable & Scalable
Because our Myriad Cloud solution runs natively on the Microsoft Azure platform, it is inherently backed by enterprise level resilience and can be automatically scaled to accommodate additional services or load. Hardware failures become a thing of the past as services are automatically moved if an issue is detected. Data is also securely stored with Azure Storage to ensure extremely high availability and backup.

The hybrid model will not be available upon initial release of Myriad Cloud and Myriad 6 but will follow shortly after release.
