We are able to provide bespoke onsite training, training sessions at our HQ in Yorkshire (UK) and also remote training sessions depending on the learning style which will suit you best.  Our flexible and detailed approach to training means that we are able to provide exactly what is needed, where and when you need it.

Commercial Radio Training

For technical training at commercial radio stations we use trainers that not only know the technology inside out but have also worked in commercial radio and know how it works in the real world.

Our commercial radio technical training is £400 (+VAT) for 1 x engineer a day. Hotel and mileage are not included. Please contact the Broadcast Radio team for terms, conditions and a quote.

Education & Registered Charities

We offer discounted training rates for education and registered charities.

For educational establishments, registered charities, hospital radio and non-profit community radio stations training at our premises is £250 (+VAT) for a maximum of six people. We will provide a buffet lunch and a training certificate to recognise continued professional development. We can also deliver training at your site for a slightly increased fee plus mileage and costs if an overnight stay in your location is required.  Please contact us for a quote.

Remote Access Training - Available To Everyone

We recognise it can be difficult to schedule training in to hectic work life!  That is why we have introduced Remote Access Training, a new remote training program that offers access to high quality 'one to one' training covering the topics you need at a time and duration to suit your schedule!

Whether you need a quick refresher or want to go through the fundamentals, simply tell our team the areas you need help with and we will tailor a bespoke Remote Access Training session to suit you. 

You can book Remote Access Training in blocks of one hour or by the day. We will focus just on the areas you want and cover as much as we can in the time allocated. If you need more time you can always extend a session or book a followup session at a time that suits you. Typical Remote Access Training sessions would focus on:
  • Introduction to playout
  • Fundamentals of AutoTrack
  • Advanced AutoTrack Pro
  • Introduction to Powerlog or Myriad 5 Logging
  • Setting Up SmartSign
  • Myriad News Fundamentals

How it works

Remote Access Training is delivered remotely allowing us to optimise the amount of training we can offer which in-turn means we can offer access to our high level experts at a fraction of the cost of them travelling to your site (or you coming to us). The 'one to one' nature also means we are able to tailor the training to your needs and in many cases, work on your actual system and content.

What will you need?
  1. Access to a PC with a broadband internet connection. Ideally this should be your actual system but if that is not possible then we can also do Remote Access Training by sharing our system and demonstrating on our data.
  2. The Team Viewer client. Simpler than it sounds! Our engineer will direct you to a link on our website, you download the link, click run and a few minutes later you will be ready to begin training.
  3. Some way to talk to us. You can call us on the phone but Skype also provides a cheap and reliable communication channel (particularly for overseas customers).
  4. A cup of tea and some biscuits. Admittedly this last one is optional but highly recommended!
